How it works
An example run through of how we can work together: the kind of info I need to ensure your project runs as smoothly as possible.
Step 1: Drop me a line
Contact me by email or give me a call (I'm friendly, I promise!). Let me know as much detail as you can about your project. What it's being used for, what platform it will sit on/be broadcast on and for how long. Let me know your budget and deadlines too to ensure maximum efficiency, and if you send a sample of the script, I can record a free custom demo for you.
Step 2: I'll provide a quote
I'll email you a quote and if you requested it, a demo recording of your script sample.
Step 3: Confirmation
After we've agreed on terms of usage and the fee, you'll confirm the booking and send me the final signed-off script and (if applicable) any music being used alongside the words.
Step 4: Record time!
After prepping the script and confirming any pronunciations with you, it's time for me to record! I can do this at my professional home studio and if you'd prefer, you can dial in to direct me live, or simply listen and confirm your favourite take. We can do this via zoom, Cleanfeed, Source Connect etc. and record remotely at an agreed time.

If you have a studio in mind that you'd like to record from, I'd be very happy to jump on the tube or drive to any London/Home Counties studio. If it's a studio further afield, just let me know when first contacting me!
Step 5: You'll receive your files
Once I've finished your recording and provided any editing that you might have requested, I'll send your files to you directly. Most clients request these in WAV format or MP3. I'll send them via WeTransfer, unless you have a preferred alternative method.

If you're not totally happy with read, email me back with specific recording instructions and I'll re-record to your specifications to ensure we nail the final product. Any technical errors or changes requested by you relating to pacing/tone/pronunciation will be included in the quote.

Step 6: Payment
Once you've confirmed you're totally happy with our work together, I'll send you an invoice. My payment terms are 30 days for repeat clients. For new clients, I request 50% of the final agreed fee ahead of recording, with the remaining 50% paid on delivery of the files.
Voila! We have completed our first project together! If you're able to, I'd love you to let me know when the project is live or broadcast.
